Rue 21 Targeting Secondary Markets - Rue 21 opened 88 stores last year and plans to open another 100 this year, but you won’t find these new openings in large Metro areas as you might expect. The new additions will be placed in communities with less than 250,000 people such as Searcy, AR and Union Gap, WA.

Movado to Close 27 Retail Stores - In an attempt to turn the company around, Movado will close all but one of their retail stores leaving their flagship store in New York open. Their 31 outlet locations will stay open.

Massage Heights Expands to DC - San Antonio based Massage Heights is expanding in the DC area. Their major competitor, Massage Envy began expanding in the area about two years ago. Massage Heights hopes to open 15 DC locations with in the next four years with the help of franchise developers.
