BBI launches new Burger Concept - Beautiful Brands International launches The Blazing Onion, a new gourmet burger concept. The concept will have a footprint of 4,500 square feet and will be a fast casual/casual fusion restaurant. Currently they have 3 locations in Washington, but plan to Franchise soon.

Frost Gelato Shop Plans Nationwide Expansion - Frost, a Tucson based gelato shop have their sites set on opening 3 new shops this year. After that, they plan to open the chain to franchisees. Their ultimate goal would be to open 1,000 shops in the next 10 years.

Mazzio’s prepares for Nationwide Expansion - Mazzio’s, currently has pizza restaurants in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri and Mississippi. They have a second concept, Oliveto’s Italian Bistro in Okalahoma and Texas. They have been working with Fransmart to develop a smaller footprint to target strip centers and retail parks.

Resurrecting Gino’s Burgers and Chicken - Tom Romano, is trying to help Gino’s make a come back and plans to open 75 restaurants within 5 years. Gino’s was a popular chain in the 60s and 70s and was best known for it’s Gino Giant Burger. The new Gino’s will feature vintage memorabilia as décor and offer Burgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Crispy Strips, Chili and Milkshakes.
