IHOP Reveals New Fast Casual Format International House of Pancakes (IHOP), a division of Glendale, Calif.-based DineEquity Inc., has debuted its new fast-casual IHOP Express format, with the opening of its first-ever store in San Diego's Gaslamp District, according to www.qsrweb.com. Before its debut, the concept was tested on university campuses and military bases. IHOP Express offers customers a selection of IHOP signature items, as well as a variety of portable items. Selections are ordered at a counter to be taken out or consumed in a dine-in seating area. Standout design elements include a contemporary, warm interior, as well as an interactive syrup bar and an open-grill “flip kitchen.” The Gaslamp District IHOP Express opening is part of the company’s strategy to increase top-of-mind awareness to increase guests’ frequency of visits. -- DDIOnline (Read More Here) |
